Facilitating High Level racing is one of the main objectives of our sailing program, we combing an ‘in season’ 6 week intensive training and racing program in and around the low country area, while also continuing to race during the off season at selected top national junior events.

During the season, June 7th through July 12th the team will attend SAYRA regattas while basing daily training from BYSC. 

During the winter months (the ‘‘off season’’) our race team participates in many Optimist and Laser Regattas (South East Champs, Mid Winters, Orange Bowl, Valentines, US Opti Team Trials, etc) with the costs of race team members attending being subsidized by Junior Sailing of Beaufort, adding extra benefit to each team member.

For each of these events we have coaching staff present for full on and off the water training.  Our coaching is available to all sailing team members.  If you would like more information on how to join the team, we welcome you to contact us asap, limited space is available.
